Hi,  I was planning visiting New York with a few friends this December time and I was wondering if you would recommend any places other than all the tourist attractions! Oh and something that people under 21 can do!

hello, this one took me a little longer to get around to answering.

I've been thinking as well as asking my friends,

and the most common answer has been, "nothing!! stay inside~~"

well, that's not helpful~~...

here are 2 exhibits I have been meaning to check out that are going on until jan:

maurizio cattelan at the guggenheim museum

this is definitely a breathtaking view~

it looks really fun and interactive!

of course, there is ice skating at rockefeller center, bryant park,

wollman rink in central park, and sky rink at chelsea piers

you may want to check out nyc.com/events for the specific dates you are in town.

it is extremely extensive with pages of events each day~

a concert or karaoke is a fun night life activity for under 21

but with all the shopping and restaurants, you are guaranteed to have a blast!!

new york surprises me with it's surprisingly gorgeous buildings.

the entire facade is carved from top to bottom, side to side.

we are moving to a new place by september - so soon!! =D

(if you know where this building is, it's a hint to our new neighborhood)

I <3 gaudi - I was fortunate to visit spain with my school in 2000.

actually, sasha's owner, adam was part of that class!

when I went venue hopping with my mom a couple weeks ago..

brunch in piermont is always so lovely..

one of the venues was close to my childhood house in scarsdale.

so we went to drive down memory lane - literally.

one year, in first grade, I was trick or treating in our new neighborhood

when some fourth grade boys told us about a woman who lives only 5 houses down,

warning us not to go there. she has no limbs they said~

exactly 20 years later, the house is still haunted!!

they used to actually have a willow tree and I would get chills whenever I biked past here...

it's so weird because they are the only mansion on a block of normals houses too..

anyway, love all the greeeeen...~~
