apt hunting begins

new york surprises me with it's surprisingly gorgeous buildings.

the entire facade is carved from top to bottom, side to side.

we are moving to a new place by september - so soon!! =D

(if you know where this building is, it's a hint to our new neighborhood)

when starstuff and I get together, I feel like 2 moms talking about their kids..

we can talk about our 2 cats each, for hours....~~ @ cafe grumpy again

(they are known to have probably the #1 coffee in manhattan, located on 20th street)

can  I get this one as my 3rd kitty?? I really want a kitty~~*

white with gray ears and tail?? awwww.. does it have blue eyes??

but 3 cats is officially crazy cat lady even in my eyes...

can I get a baby then?? I went a little nuts at buy buy baby for these footsies =X

for hippo + frog's baby, jacob~~*

(it's really not helping that all my friends are starting to pop em out~~..)

ok no baby yet. maybe 3 years.

so, really? I can't get a kitty???

fyi - we love our coffee table which turns into a dining table for 2.

tastes a bit funky though - a bit like those asian medicines 

then we went over for the yummiest korean food and wine @ noah's.

and she said her one secret is clarisonic.

I realized my fiance got it for xmas from his sis~

he actually made me try it before, and I don't know what it is about girl talk,

but now I was interested.

just apply your facewash on the brush,

and conveniently use it in the shower on your face.

it beeps to let you know when to do the next section of your face.

for some people - you may break out - so there is a reg brush & a sensitive brush.

your face will be as soft as a baby's butt!! use once a day =)

camera phone pics

my camera phone consists mostly of my paintings...

(inspiration - previous post about trophy heads)

the rhino took me less than 10 mins, but the painting I "erased" under it took about an hour.

I erase layers of different paintings until I'm happy..

for instance, I painted over the bottom right one also - new version is unfinished..

and this a portrait of me mixed with my mom's image when she was my age.

so, my fiance asked for a portrait of bucky.

I initially said no, but there is something about the subconscious. tricky tricky.

yesterday: while starstuff and I were stalking purple arriving with chipotle =9

 the cabs look miniature~

"DOUBLE RAINBOW!!!"

(the view must have been amazing from nj, with the ginormous rainbow over the skyline)

couple days ago: mini rainbows in my parent's house in westchester <3

there's a split second in a shampoo commercial.

and months later, I HAD to freeze the tv when I saw this. I need to make this.
