did you guys go to fashion's night out?

I ended up taking a much needed nap~

but woke up bright and early to go to the hermes sample sale

 hey guys!! look what shoes I got~

most of you voted for 6, but 1 & 2 tied for second,

and they were cheaper together than 6

however - with cheaper shoes do come with bandaids. ugh!

took the Patricia Chang clutch out for a spin~

OK - I may not have gone had I read about how they didn't have

jewelry, ties, bags, scarves, belts, even cute home goods at least~

I was so shocked how boring and big the sale was.

unless you're into their clothes!

but nancy and I found these booties~ perfect for fall and SO comfy - unlike the flats =/

 

this design seems to be a trend in my tiny but growing collection.

time to move on~~ last one

I've never worked 40 straight hours in my life before. O.O

if I stayed up it was for school and it would be broken up for class,

or to hang out with friends at retreats. :P

the little black jacket

 

Karl Lagerfeld, besides being known as Chanel’s designer—is also known for being an avid photographer.

A world-traveling exhibition featuring more than 100 striking black-and-white photographs he took of various “friends,” ranging from Sarah Jessica Parker to Kanye West to Yoko Ono, is making a one-week stop in New York beginning Friday, at the Swiss Institute downtown on Wooster Street.

The exhibition, titled “The Little Black Jacket,” is based on a Steidl book of the same name—and the same photos—scheduled for release this autumn. The title refers to Chanel’s iconic black tweed jacket and Mr. Lagerfeld, in collaboration with former longtime French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld, reimagined ways (120 of them) the jacket could be worn and interpreted.

 

$1 oysters in NY

no worries - everything is so fresh!! I was in heaven for two days..

 

first, we have FISH

went for gihee's birthday dinner.

we had some crab legs, fries, but the important part is this:

$8 for 6 (nice plump) oysters and a drink (wine or beer)

 

 they have more dipping choices also

second, we have MERMAID INN for date night

(I went to the upper west side location - really cute, clean decor)

happy hour and a half starting at 5:30pm - $1 oysters and discounted drinks

 

 we ordered some fish tacos, sliders, shishito peppers, and fries

paired with bloody mary~

 it's true - these little details make you want to go back.

a really delicious chocolate pudding for everyone, and a fortune telling fish!

really cute, I wish we lived closer so we can go every day :P

however, we do live next to THALIA, a hidden midtown $1 oyster place.

so that's next on our list!

 

we walked home through Central Park and I saw this amazing tree.

lastly, speaking of seafood.. CHAI

we had the best seafood paella on our walk home last night!!
it's thai, and makes me look forward to the Indonesian seafood we are going to have~
but we decided to make this our go to place :D

my delightful bridal shower!

ok. first you need to understand, while girls dream of their wedding day..

I dream about my bridal shower!!!

anyhow, I've been planning this day forever~

only recently, did it dawn on me that I am not "allowed" to plan~~ *faint*

my poor bridesmaids, so much pressure!

but oh mannnnnn, they planned an even better shower than I would have for myself!

let the photos show for themselves that my best friends and sister RULE!!!

I love my bridesmaids!!!!!! thank yOUUUUUU~~~~
