I was able to catch a bit of the oscars today,

I sell ice in the winter

a sister blog to my previous feb 3rd 'tribute' post.
(the bottles arrived and they are so pretty, I am hoping he keeps them~)
now I came across this, and am noticing things I would not have before..

Armand de Brignac

Since 1763, the Cattier family has owned and cultivated vineyards in the prestigious Montagne de Reims terroir of the French Champagne region.

Most recently ranked the number one Champagne in the world in a blind-tasting of over 1,000 brands, Armand de Brignac exemplifies unmatched winemaking expertise and a true passion for the art of Champagne.

Inspired by famed French fashion designer André Courrèges,
each metallic bottle is crafted entirely by hand.

from his "space age" collection

uh oh~ I actually made a "no more bottles" rule,
but can we add these to your (our) collection? =o)
it's so cute~. the one on the right of course ;)

lady and the tramp

thank you chef nancy~ who doesn't love recommendations?
I needed one for a delicious birthday dinner date spot on saturday night.

warm, romantic dinner: il buco
fresh, fine but rustic italian cooking

I was really excited to be seated downstairs in the wine cellar~
which happens to be very private and intimate.

it's definitely a mini escape from the city,
straight to a farm home in the european country.

appetizer: bison tartare, quail egg yolk, sunchoke chips, black truffles
(only took one picture)
all the pastas made great entrees

interesting menu: olive oil tasting - we passed, but maybe next time~

we are sooo happy because my man sent a message,
"I take care of my baby"
along with 2 bottles of the nicest champagne,
and my favorite green tea crepe cake from lady M!!
to my girl's dinner party @ alta.
it was definitely the sweetest highlight. thank you thank you!!!
